Darfur Now is feature documentary, from Warner Bros and Participant Productions, that tells the inspirational story of what Berkeley Law student Adam Sterling, along with his "pals" George Clooney and Don Cheadle, did to address the humanitarian conflict and genocide in Sudan. The film was named Best Documentary by the National Board of Review. In addition to screening the film, the director, Ted Braun, will be on hand to discuss his experiences making the film in Sudan. The film will be introduced by Professor Jamie O'Connell. Dinner and refreshments will be provided. Open to all students. $10 donation requested (all proceeds will go to support organizations featured in the film).
