From the Prison Nation to Community Resistance

Scholars, activists, and community members will discuss
sexual and domestic violence against the backdrop of the prison
industrial complex, racialized structural violence, and the
criminalization of gender and sexuality. The all-day symposium will
highlight community resistance strategies such as restorative justice,
community accountability, and transformative justice.
