Public Interest and Pro Bono Graduation
May 9, 2014 from 4-6 PM
Berkeley Law will celebrate graduating students who have contributed to our
public interest and pro bono culture!
Each year the Henderson Center, the Career
Development Office, the Student-Initiated Legal Services Projects and the
Berkeley Law Clinical Program host a ceremony and reception to honor and thank
law students who have completed 50 or more hours of pro bono work, completed
two summers of public interest or public service work, or served as a
coordinator for a SLP.
This year's ceremony will be held on
Friday, May 9, 2014 from 4 to 5:30 PM in Booth Auditorium, followed by a
cocktail reception in the Goldberg Room and Steinhart Courtyard until 6
PM. Family members and significant others of graduates are encouraged to
attend. We also invite faculty and law school administrators to come out
to embrace and acknowledge these graduates as they enter the world of practice.
