Please join the Center for Latin American Studies program as they host acclaimed Chilean-American author Isabel Allende who will discuss her latest novel, "Maya's Notebook."  The award-winning author of 19 books, Allende is the daughter of a Chilean diplomat and was forced into exile by the 1973 coup that deposed her cousin, President Salvador Allende. 

Isabel Allende will speak about her new book and sign copies of the book after the program.
